  12.     For better or worse, I've undertaken learning C as my first 
  13. programming language. I'm using Borland's Turbo C++ 4.5 compiler on a
  14. 486 running Windows 95. The book I've been using is The Waite Group's
  15. C Programming Using Turbo C++. The problem I'm having is that not all 
  16. of the programming examples in the book work right. The examples were 
  17. written for windows 3.1 and DOS 6 or whatever, I think. Anyway, has 
  18. anybody else any experience with this combination of software, or can 
  19. anyone offer any suggestions? I've got my hands full learning the 
  20. language let alone dealing with examples that won't link or that cause
  21. processor faults. Any input would be appreciated.
